| On September 1, 2009 the RBDA sent a comment letter to the the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board regarding the MSRB's proposal related to expanding market information for auction rate securities and variable rate demand obligations. The RBDA supported the proposal in concept. The RBDA said it is sensitive to to concerns that program dealers and remarketing agents may not be in the best position to submit ARS and VRDO information to the MSRB. The RBDA also asked the MSRB to consider making its stored bond documents available in a format that is text searchable.The RBDA’s letter is available here. |
